I focus on taking the time each space deserves, moving away from standard real estate photos to concentrate on clean composition, natural light, and careful styling. Whether working with designers, architects, builders, or vacation rental owners, my goal is simple: to make a room look as good on screen as it feels in person.
My process
Pre-Shoot
Before I step foot on the property, we’ll discuss any specific shots or details you want prioritized. Otherwise, you can hand off the keys and leave the creative direction to me.
On-Site Prep
I walk the space, adjust lighting, and clean up visual clutter. I’ll lightly style using what’s already in the home, layering blankets, adjusting bedding, or placing a mug so the room looks lived in and intentional.
The Shoot
I evaluate the natural light to decide whether to turn on lamps or rely strictly on ambient light. Then, I shoot a mix of wide angles and close-up detail shots that capture the true feel of the space.
Post-Shoot
Every image is hand edited to look warm, inviting, and true to life, including removing any minor distractions missed on set. You’ll receive your final gallery in 3-5 business days (or 1-2 weeks during peak season)
Where are you located?
I am based in Western Maryland and regularly shoot in Deep Creek Lake and surrounding areas across MD, WV, and PA. Travel outside this region is available. Just reach out with your project location for details.
Do I need to be on-site during the shoot?
Not at all. Most of my clients prefer to simply provide a door code or lockbox location so they can focus on their day. If you prefer to be there for a quick walkthrough or stay for the full shoot, you are always welcome.
How should i prepare the space before you arrive?
The space needs to be clean, decluttered, and photo-ready upon my arrival. All beds should be made, any outdoor furniture should be prepped with cushions out (or let me know where they’re stored). While I handle quick visual adjustments like hiding a trash can or tweaking light fixtures, my focus is on capturing your space, not cleaning or full staging.
How soon will I receive my photos?
Standard turnaround time is 3 to 5 business days. During peak seasons, delivery takes up to 1 to 2 weeks. If you have a specific deadline or launch date, let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
How will I receive my photos?
You’ll receive a link to a private digital gallery where you can download high-resolution files sized for print portfolios, web, and social media.
What usage rights are included with the photos?
Final delivered images include licensing for your website, social media, portfolio, and marketing materials.
AI Restrictions
Under no circumstances may any photos or videos delivered be uploaded to generative AI tools, used for virtual AI staging, altered using AI editing software, or fed into datasets to train artificial intelligence models.
